Kyocera phones are tested to Military Standard 810 and/or Ingress Protection (IP) standards for waterproofing and dustproofing.
*Phone should be dried as quickly as possible when wet. To ensure that phone is waterproof, make sure all of the port covers are properly sealed, including the charger/data port, audio jack and card slot covers, with no foreign objects obstructing the seals.

Kyocera’s ultra-durable devices are tested by independent labs according to MIL-STD-810 for water immersion, blowing sand and dust, shock, drops, vibration, extreme temperatures and more.
Glove + Wet Touchscreen
Kyocera devices not only survive, but also remain productive in the toughest environments, with touchscreen displays that can be used when wet and with gloves up to 3mm thick.
Kyocera devices meet OSHA standards for use in Non-incendive, Class I, Division 2, Group A-D, T4 environments where concentrations of flammable gases, vapors or mists are not normally present in an explosive concentration (but may accidentally exist).
